- ALSS was founded in 2014 by a group of middle class families in a large city (Pune, Maharashtra) with the goal of providing a high quality of education with a non-traditional
teaching philosophy to their children.
- The school has been operating in a rented, office building and grown to serve close to 200 students. For the last several years parents have raised funds to acquire the land
and build a permanent school.
- BSI proposed and ALSS has agreed to expand or adjust the enrollment of the school, so that at least25% of the students will be from underserved and less advantaged students. BSI will
subsidize the cost of enrolling the students who would otherwise not be able to pay the necessary fees to attend the school.
